Central America's Costa Rica lives up to its translation as the “rich coast”. An adventure hotspot for some, and a cultural paradise for others.

As you travel under the lush doses of the forest, along the Gold Coast, you will soon be enriched with unforgettable experiences. You might spot the majestic plumage of the quetzal in the smoky cloud forests of Monteverde or hear the distant cry of howler monkeys in Corcovado, but really, it’s the pace of life here that draws you in. For all this and as expected, Costa Rica is “Pura Vida”.

Costa Rica is the second smallest of the Central American countries, bordered by the Pacific Ocean in the West and the Atlantic in the East offers the traveler an incredible variety of nature and wildlife, easy and safe to explore within many national parks and protected areas.

Costa Rica has a population of approximately 5 million of which a third of the entire population lives within the metropolitan area and San Jose, it’s capital. San Jose is one of the safest cities in all Latin America.

Costa Rica has two seasons, the rainy season and the dry season. The rainy season usually starts in May and lasts through late November, while the dry season is from early December until the end of April. Temperatures vary according to elevation.
