Day 1

Reception at Juan Santamaria International Airport and transfer to your hotel in San Jose.

San Jose is the capital and is in the middle of the Central Valley in the center of the country. The city has tourist attractions, such as museums, theaters, artisan markets, shopping centers, and a varied gastronomic option.

Day 2

You will be transferred by shared transportation to the Arenal Volcano in the Northern region.

The Arenal volcano is one of the country’s natural wonders. You can still see the ash emanating from the top of the cone. Also, you can visit the town of La Fortuna and have adventure tours or just enjoy the plentiful hot springs in the area.

Day 3

Hanging bridges adventure!

Walk through the heart of the tropical rainforest and discover some of the wildlife. Enjoy the unparalleled view from our hanging bridges.

Discovering the wonderful secrets hidden in this forest means finding a wildlife sanctuary; the high density of biodiversity makes the trails a unique place for observing species spotted along the way.

Day 4

Shuttle Transportation from your hotel to Puerto Viejo or Cahuita – It is famous for its perfect surfing waves of Salsa Brava and its beaches, such as Playa Negra. The Gandoca-Manzanillo National Wildlife Refuge has jungles, swamps, and mangroves. To the north, the Cahuita National Park protects a large coral reef and has a dive site where you can see shipwrecks.

Day 5

You will have a cultural, anthropological, and sensory immersion in the Uatsi Bribri Community in the foothills of the Talamanca Mountains. This is a thorough Sensory Experience where you will smell aromas, see objects, hear sounds, taste flavors, and feel sensations you never felt before.

Bribris like their brother/sister ethnic Costa Rican and Panamanian indigenous tribes migrated from the Amazon in South America from the Chibchas hunters and gatherers, making their transtion into the Agricultural Period. Along with their migration and settlement brought their agriculture/farming main sacret product “Cacao”, which is still is up to today their main economic income and spiritual heritage.

During this visit, we will participate in the Cacao Ceremony with Luis “The Healer Shaman” who will also perform a Ritual Medicinal Plant Sweat Lodge Cleansing Ceremony. Tania will demonstrate the process of Chocolate Making using Ancient Archaic Tool to grind the cacao beans and make the paste “Chocolate”. Once the paste is finished, Luis (The Healer Shaman) will begging the Cleansing Ceremony with a Cacao Paste Facial. Now is time for an ancient Ritual “The Medicinal Plant Sweat Lodge “Usure Healing House” Cleansing Ceremony”, at this moment, if you believe in “Magic Realism” you can heal your Emotional wounds, Traumas, Stress, Fears, Anxiety etc.

Day 6

A morning transportation will take you to your hotel near San Jose.

Day 7

Today you depart to the Juan Santamaria International Airport.
